Deborah Eisenberg is the author of four collections of stories: Transactions in a Foreign Currency, Under the 82nd Airborne, All Around Atlantis, and Eisenberg’s most commanding collection, Twilight of the Superheroes. She is the recipient of a MacArthur “genius” fellowship and the 2011 PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction. Since 1994 she has taught at the University of Virginia.
